Just over 8 years ago Time To Change (West Cumbria) Project CIC was incorporated – the start of Calderwood House journey! Here is a throwback to when former Police & Crime Commissioner Richard Rhodes talks about how Rachel’s drive, determination (and figurative half-nelson!) resulted in the lease of old police station at 1 Main Street in Egremont. We are still so grateful for their support, and delighted that Calderwood House is thriving and a well-integrated part of the Copeland community.

Calderwood House is much more than an emergency hostel for the homeless. It is a 24/7 place of care where residents can regain confidence, skills and fulfil the main goal which is to return into independent accommodation through our housing recovery programme.
